Desire Path
seeded walkers wear routes into a 14 by 14 field
A desire path is the track feet wear into the grass where the pavement should have gone — the route people actually take, made visible by repetition.
Here, a handful of walkers set out across a 14×14 lattice, each choosing turns by weight. Where one has already gone, the next is drawn to follow, so shared edges thicken into confident routes while lone detours stay faint. Every stroke carries its own pressure and grain, like ink pushed by a hand.
